Hi, my name is Sammi, I am new hopefully I am doing this right.I have always wanted chickens and have pet sit many times for chicken owners and I finally got my own this June. I currently have 8 chickens: 3 easter eggers, 1 wellsummer, 1 silkie mix, and 3 silkies. I just love having my own finally I have severe generalized anxiety disorder and they help me stay stable and I just love chickens so much.
I am also an artist and keep snakes as a hobbie as well I currently have 6.I also have a bearded dragon, tarantula, 3 cats and 2 dogs I just started gardening about the same time I got chickens. I work as a special education assistant and I love my job.I also have a special needs son that takes up most of my days. He also seems to be really interested in chickens.
Whenever I googled chicken questions this is forum always came up so I decided why not join.
