Hello fellow chicken tenders! New member here
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I was first given two chicks on my 16th birthday by my mom's friend. No warning. Just here ya go. Over 10 years later, the addiction has only worsened and I now have my own flock (and my mom still has hers too)
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
Black copper marans mostly. And then a bunch of other breeds. Just started with Ayam Cemanis.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Telling people I have chickens and giving away the eggs. Lol
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Traveling
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
1 cat, 2 desert tortoises, and a toddler. They all get along swimmingly.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
When in doubt, ask Google. and Google always brings me here where I find just what I'm looking for.
