Hello! I've raised chickens for meat & eggs off & on for years and now my 8 year old grandson wants to raise some for eggs. I'm new to Virginia so I'm looking forward to warmer Winters than we had in NH.

My grandkids are also involved in my chicken endeavors, collecting eggs, feeding, hatching chicks, and even help slaughter and butcher them.
