Hello!

I finally decided to join this forum after being a long time lurker

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

Fairly new, I got chickens July last year

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

16!

(3) What breeds do you have?

White Leghorn, Rhode Island Red, Americana/Easter Egger

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

I think chickens are fun and lovely, I love observing their behavior. Some of my hens are very cuddly and sweet as well so it's a plus. Also the eggs of course!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

I like sewing, cooking, knitting, reading, gardening...

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

My husband and I bought a house sitting on a few acres of land last year so we're excited to start our homesteading journey. We want to get a dog next and hopefully other animals in the future.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

i often have chicken questions and always end up in this forum. Thought I would join and participate as well!

Welcome. I love the order you listed your favorite aspect in....eggs are "nice" for me also, but loving and taking care of them is first.
