(I don’t even know what breeds I have) I’m on a mission to learn as I take the responsibility of their care very seriously.

How did you become an accidental farm

I’ll try to give you the condensed version. Woman with a California East Bay lifestyle and mentality gets engaged to Northwest Washington man and relocates to his small farm. VERY soon after I moved, he suffered a health crisis which left me flying solo here.

I plan to post pictures of my chickens very soon. So much to learn and so much to do! 11 chickens, nine ducks, and 17 rabbits (9 of which are about a month old). Thankfully, I have experience with harvesting and canning but even more thankful for finding this site!
