I also had a rhode island red bantam hen that hatched a chick at first for like the first month I thought it was my roosters chick but then it grew up and it is a Belgian Bearded D'Anver. In the pen with the reds was I think 5 D'Anver roosters and 2 D'anver hens and I had 2 rhode Island Red roosters 1 of them was Grand Champion. Grand Champion was the top of the pecking order so I thought he bred my hen but the baby is a straight D'Anver so she hatched the other hens eggs. the pictures are from almost a year ago.

My hen that got Grand Champion at county fair I took her to state fair for 4-H the same year she won and we were like 5 minutes late for the class she was supposed to be in and the person judged her and gave her a red ribbon which is the second worst ribbon you can get and she looked the same as she did at county he just didn't like that we were late and every year I have taken her to the state fair and she has got 1 ribbon higher then that for 4-H every year and I took her to open show in 2024 and she was first in her class and she is now about 6 years old she was only 3 when she won Grand Champion
