Welcome to the most wonderful addiction on the planet! You have come to the worst support group ever.....we're all ADDICTED ENABLERS.

It would sort of be like going to an AA meeting and everyone is chanting, "TAKE THAT DRINK....TAKE THAT DRINK" ha!

Love that post featherbaby. I find that a lot on a lot of the forums. We just try to give our opinions. lol I will not comment on something unless I've tried the solution to the problem first. lol.
Thanks to all of you. I don't post often but I am on the auction part of this almost everyday. Wish I would just leave it alone for a while. Got to many birds as it is.

Hi everyone!!! I had chickens up until about a month ago and I had a beautiful Americana (spelled right?) rooster which if i set up my album right i have a few photos of him. I also had a cute little black austrolope hen and two barred rock (i think) hens. I lost my three hens to a raccoon a few months ago. Just but a week before my girls (hens) where killed I gave my rooster away because he kinda started to try and beat on my nieces and my dad. I raised my black austrolorpe and my Americana rooster. I named my rooster Poco and my hen Mayflower. Almost a year later I rescued two barred rock hens and they slowly adjusted to the new pack. I named one Rookie and the other Marble. I have joined BYC because I have no clue of any other people the give good advice with chickens. I am looking forward to becoming an avider user.

I will probably be asking for lots of tips in the future to make sure that my chickens "compond" is bullet proof. Any tips now I could also use too!!!
