Thank you all for such a lovely welcome! this looks like a great forum, I can see getting quite involved, there is so much to learn here! Warrens are a cross between Rhode Island Reds and Leghorns, they were bred for laying, and are meant to be quite prolific. We have had them 6 days now, and not laying yet, so I have been reading the 'how can I tell when my Chickens are ready to lay?' thread.. Am feeling quite enlightened, and waiting for redder combs now. I am posting a photo below..

from TN. Glad you joined. you will find all kinds of information and if you have a question just ask. You will probably get the answer quicker than searching the internet. And it will probably be more reliable too!
 
Hey how do you get them to do that?? we have only had ours a week, but I will try getting them to sit on my shoulder, and try to send a pic if successful
