New Member - Jamestown NY / Warren PA area - Help identifying Golden Comet Roos

Hello Catie, and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Those birds will be fined and move out into an uninsulated coop without any supplemental heat source next week. Just make sure they're fully draft free and they have lots of dry fluffy bedding to hunker down in.
I am excited to get them outside and acclimated to their new home! The coop is up and we are finishing their run Friday so Sunday will be move in day! Sunday has a high of 68 and a low of 48. The lowest it should get to the rest of this month is 43.

Welcome to the coop! I use the Forums and Articles tabs at the top of the page to do research. You can get lost for hours. It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies! I always check in the "What's New" section as well at the top of this page. This way I can read how I may have a similar question or help give some advice.

Speaking of golden comet roosters…. I am on the fence with this one. Peanut has been slow growing and just scraggly from the start. Looks nothing like the other golden comet I got at the same time.
I notice some downward feathers around the saddle area.. so is Peanut a pullet or a rooster? Any ideas?

I'm sorry, but Peanut is a cockerel. He's either a RIR or a production red. :(
