You did a good job. They should be secure.
With just 6 chickens, you might want to remove the lower roost and install a ramp to the higher roost and just have the one roost. If they end up needing an additional roost, you could install the lower one again but keep it at least 12 horizontal inches from the higher one or the birds that roost there will get pooped on.
