Hello,
My wife and I have been wanting to get chickens for a few years. This year, we finally ordered some chicks in April and I built a nice coop for them. Since we currently live in CT, we wanted cold-hardy birds. We have 7: 2x black australorps, 2x bard rock, 2x americauna, and 1 auracauna. They are definitely entertaining and fun to watch! Egg production has now started and we are currently getting 3-4 eggs per day.
We've read a lot of good information on this site and finally "officially" registered to the forum.
