Hi all. I’m a new member looking for advice regarding separating new goslings (2-3 weeks old).
My ex husband & I share custody of our 2 daughters, 18 and 20. They spend 2-3? days a week at farm with their dad. They just had some goslings 2? weeks ago. My youngest has decided she wants to have one as an indoor pet.
The problem I see is that it will be left alone in the house 5 days a week when they stay at my home. My ex husband only returns to the farm to feed the animals when they’re not with him.
I personally think this is a bad choice her and her dad are making. Who’s the goslings going to imprint with? If it goes back with the others even in a few weeks or more, will the others and the mother and father avoid it? Or attack it?
Any advice is welcome. Thank you!
