Greetings from Kentucky! Glad you joined us.

We use straw in all our nesting boxes. Sometimes in the fall and winter we'll clean out the straw and replace it with pine needles and dried dead leaves!


 
I have Buckeyes, Golden Comets and Barred Rocks. The rooster is mixed.
