New Member, need help with prolapse

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this issue. But I have read through loads of threads on prolapse issues. We seem to have one with one of our girls, but has looked different than some of the others I have seen. I'm afraid we didn't catch it soon enough. I have a photo but don't want to gross anyone out of this is the wrong thread. However, I would love a second opinion from someone who has seen these before. We are first timers and want to do well with these beautiful birds.

Welcome to BYC, so sorry about the problem. I have no experience with prolapse, but know how upsetting it is to have a problem with one of your flock.

IMO you should post the pic and problem under Emergencies.

It depends. Try posting in the illness section. Maybe someone is monitoring that and can help you.

I'm sorry I have no experience with this issue. I hope the ER folks are up for the job, Maybe you could edit your post there by putting "URGENT" first. If you"click" on the pencil icon at the bottom left under your post- that allows you to change the copy. When you are done hit submit. Then it will show you edited it at such and such date.
