Welcome from New Orleans. Wish I could be more help, but I can tell you, with a wound that deep you do not want to use peroxide in any form, watered down or not. Sterile saline would be best, but plain sterile water would work as well and then follow @sourland 's advice. Make sure you check frequently regarding fly strike and treat immediately if you find fly strike. Also someone said keep them separate from the others so they can heal. Perhaps you can add on to your coop while they are healing, assuming that is the problem. Good luck, please post in the emergency section and keep us posted here on how your birds are doing.This injury occurred over 4 months ago and either the bird is already healed or didn't make it. BelatedWelcome to BYC. Separate the pecked birds from the flock and protect them from flies by applying antibiotic ointment. Frequently such cannibalism is caused by over crowding.
