Hi everyone, I'm a new chicken enthusiast living in Renfrewshire, Scotland. I've just recently moved home and have a very large garden so thought I'd keep two or three chickens as always wanted too. I have 6 eggs in the incubator just now (day 3) and three are clearly developing. The other three its hard to tell but I'm sure I'll know in the next few days. They are New Hampshire Red Bantams. I'm planning on building my own coop but I'm still not too sure on the design. I'd like a self-contained coop with built in run. Preferably one where the coop is elevated with run underneath. Perh

If anyone has any plans for something similar, I'd appreciate them.
Looking forward to reading and contributing to the forum.

You should be able to see development in the eggs by day 7. If not candle again on day 10, just in case! Some chicks are shy to show themselves. Good luck with the hatch!
