Unfortunately I believe worseHow is your little doing now, sounds like your poult was injured somehow but that's just an assumption from what you stated. Can you take a pic and give some more info?
So sorry to see that but from the one pic it kind of looks like its broken at the joint, might just be the picture. Does the joint or leg look twisted at the joint compared to the other. Hard to tell from the pics?Ty for letting me know!
Unfortunately I believe worse.. still eating and drinking and otherwise seems healthy but the hock looks worse for sure.
Can the poult move leg at the joint on its own, does it even try to straighten it out and walk with it?So sorry to see that but from the one pic it kind of looks like its broken at the joint, might just be the picture. So when she lays she stretches both legs to the side sometimes and other times she just sits with both legs under her. Here's a few more photos I just took hopefully with a better angle. Both legs look the same as far as the position, and if I extend the leg straight out she doesn't seem bothered by it. I have to quit messing with her though because it's bleeding a little now. I don't know if I should wrap it or not either, im very unprepared for a injury unfortunately. I dont have much to wrap the leg with but can more than likelycome up withsomethingif thats the route we should take. We have been giving them "Hydro-hen" mixed in their water it's a 3-in-1, probiotics+electrolytes +acidifiers (my apologies if your familiar with this already)I have read I should start vitamin B which I will as soon as I can get it tomorrow. Can the poult move leg at the joint on its own, does it even try to straighten it out and walk with it?
Oh no. Is that something a vet can tend too? I'm starting to feel very discouragedIt really looks like leg was twisted really bad at the joint and dislocated so bad poking bone through the skin. If it was just a slipped tendon the skin wouldn't normally be torn like that.
