(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am not new to chickens, raised them for many many years and had to rehome all 50 of my chickens because of a work related move. Now it’s been 10 years, and we moved back to the farm country and I got chickens again!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Currently have 11 and added 3-4 more next week.
(3) What breeds do you have?
RIR, specked Sussex, barred rock.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
It’s a hobby, I enjoy it and you get a few rewards in eggs!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, cross stitch, reading, movies, diamond dots.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Married 28 years, 4 adult children and just had our first grand baby 7 weeks ago. We have 3 dogs and 1 cat.
