The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Your husband sounds like mine. He thinks that he has to go to bed at 7 pm like he's in his 70's or something and I'm supposed to work with him for 15 + hours and if I take a break he gets bent out of shape. It's annoying to know that I know my limits and apparently he doesn't have any. Grr
That's been my life for the last 44 years. Strong hardworking men just don't realize, we're built different.

We were outside doing something yesterday and I told him I just can't lift really heavy things anymore. I told him how frustrated it makes me, because I've always done it and kind of prided myself on it. He looked at me and he said, he'd let me lift things he probably shouldn't have. He's realized, that it's kind of broken my body down. I've had several surgeries because of it.

I have to help him moderate, it's hard for him to slow down.

Put your foot down too, lovingly of course. Even though my foot had a little heat behind it the other night...lol

I just told him that I have too many problems to act like I'm in my 20 s. He's always acting like well that's a problem but not mine. I finally told him one day that if he wanted to work himself to death then do it but don't expect me to join him. He's figuring out that I am not about to do anything that could cause me more problems.
