New member of our chicken family

We have a new rooster, Rascal, amongst our hens, but the gentleman I got Rascal from didn't know what breed he was. Could you folks help me out?

Since nobody seems to know what breed he is, I guess it's safe to assume he's a mutt of breeds...

I do think you're right, he's probably a mix. I thought he could be birchen marans, but I think they're supposed to have white legs. He's also got a lot of leakage on the wings, so probably a mix.

I didn't answer because I don't know what he is. Doesn't look like any I'm familiar with, but I'm not familiar with many.

possinly EE mix because he has pea comb, and EE are very common... if you keep pullets and some lay colored eggs, you have your answer.

He's very well mannered and gentle with my ladies, so I think he's a keeper! Sometimes the mutts make the best breed!

He is a mix. (I love mixes way better then pure breeds,they seem to live longer and are just great.

Very handsome roo, indeed. I bet there's some EE in him, with that pea comb. I really LIKE the "leakage" gold on his shoulders.
