So happy to be a member of the BYC community. Whenever looking up questions that I have concerning my little flock, I always depend on this site for the right answers. I have a flock of four gold laced wyandotte pullets and two silver laced wyandottes. I will be sending a picture of my latest two gold wyandottes. One was to be a pullet and one a rooster; however, as I watch them grow I have a feeling they are both pullets. Need some expert opinions.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens! :welcome I have heard many great things about Wyandottes. If you post pictures of them on the what breed or gender section, we can help you determine the gender!

Good morning, welcome to BYC!

It would be nice to see any pictures you'd be willing to share. Having both your Wyandottes wouldn't be a bad thing if you just have less than 10 girls...the recommended ratio is 1 roo per 8-10 girls. And unless you want fertilized eggs, you don't need a rooster at all (although they are handsome guys).

Enjoy your flock, nice to have you here!
