New member of the family! Mia's Moonshine.

My mare Mia delivered this beautiful colt on April 18th @ 2:02 am, this pic is of the first and last time they met each. Shortly after giving birth about 10 minutes after giving birth I lost Mia. I don't know what happened she layed down, and never got back up. Now, we are raising Moonshine. I am devasted over losing Mia, but she did give me a beautiful boy to love. So, please meet Mia's Moonshine, and we call him Moonshine for short.

At 12 hours old

This little guy is 5 days old now, and is drinking water out of a bucket, even though I am still bottle feeding him, and he already has teeth coming in.

I'm so sorry you lost your mare. What a shock that must have been for you. The baby is beautiful. There is a very good website about bottle feeding babies. When I find it I will post it for you.
