I have EE's that lay blue eggs and one that lays a light green egg. If I cross them with my Welsummer rooster, what color might the eggs of their offspring be? I also have some black copper maran hens, what should I cross them with to get the olive eggers? Someone told me that the rooster has to be from a dark brown egg and the hen from a blue egg to produce the olive egger. Is this correct?
