Hiya, and welcome to BYC!

We have a serious fly problem due to a horse barn across the road. My sister who raises turkeys commercially got me onto PT-Alpine. It is pricey, but you only spray a dot on each wall, out of chickens' reach, once a month and zero flies. The flies are safe for chickens to eat. We still have our original can we bought about 5-6 years ago, so while expensive, it goes a very long ways!
