New member seeking answer

Hello,
I am new to raising turkeys, and have 6 Narragansett turkeys. A few of them have begun to lose some feathers around the base of their necks. It appears the quills are still there. I have attached a picture. Is this them just molting?

Any help with be grateful.

How old are they? Adult turkeys are molting this time of year.

6 months old. I took a closer look and You can see the new feather poking through.

They are probably getting their adult feathers at that age. They go through multiple mini molts as they grow.
