Hi all I am new to Backyardchickens introducing myself to you all. 
As a child I grew up on a farm with my parents we have always had hens, ducks and geese. It was brilliant growing up watching all the egg hatching and new arrivals. But now I have left home and have a family of my own I'm starting to miss that farm life. We have decided to set up an incubator for my little girl to experience some of the things I did. She is animal mad. She is only 2 but her understanding is incredible. We have set our eggs going in the incubator today and I've explained to her we might have some baby chicks soon so she have been practicing her chick noises 
. This will be my first time hatching from an incubator so this is slightly different for me. I have researched alot but any advise will be greatly appreciated. Sophie
