Hi I am located in East Central Texas. I live on 20 acres and just retired. I have had a variety of chickens. I received a trio of French Black Copper Marans from a friend who hatched the trio from her hens. The eggs are a beautiful dark brown color. I love the color of these eggs. I also acquired an incubator and have hatched over 300 hundred guinea eggs. Recently I hatched two batches of french black copper maran chicks. I have 20 chicks that are about 5 weeks old and 24 chicks that are 3 weeks old. I am looking to sell my baby chicks in Texas. Looking forward to being a member.

Marans are definitely a special bird, and their eggs do add luxury to the egg basket. I feel like James Bond whenever I eat one.
