New Member to BackYard Chickens

Hey everbody! I'm a new member on Backyard Chickens and I'm so excited to start! So basically, I'm somewhat new to chickens. I've had mine for a little over a year but I'm still learning as the days pass. I've been through 19 chickens and now I currently have 11 (four have died and the other four turned out to be roosters; however, we think we may have two other rooster). I personally LOVE this website and get just about all of my information from it. My mom actually found pictures for a chicken coop on this website and had my Dad and grandfather build it. Anyways, sorry drag on, but the bottom line is that I can't wait to start!

Yes I find myself learning something new about chickens nearly everyday too! Sorry to hear about the 4 that died.

Welcome to Backyard chickens. We would love to see pictures of your coop. Have you named it? You may want to post on your state thread, hopefully you will find some chickeners near you and have 3 dimensional friendships. What breeds do you have?
