(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Very new to chickens and ducks! May 2018

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
5 chickens, 1 duck (something killed my second duck) :(
(3) What breeds do you have?
RIR , not sure what my duck is. Husband got him because my daughter “needed him”

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Google!!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Raising my daughter and new flock

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I work at a hospital 3x a week so I like to spend time with my daughter at home with our new flock and two dogs. I want my daughter to love animals like I do and learn how to properly take care of animals and care for them. We do a lot of outdoor activities and since we live in Florida we are usually around water.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
I have been having a problem with my duck “ducken” is what my daughter named him and I want to get him better so I googled what I should do and this community popped up and figured I should join to get all the education I can and be around a community of people that love what I am new to!!

Welcome to the flock!

Looking at the picture I am thinking leg issue / vitamin deficiency ducks need more niacin in their diet than chickens do. I am new to ducks myself but have read B vitamins help sort out most leg issues,

But let's call the experts

In the Evan time add some brewyers yeast (bread yeast in a pinch) and peas to Duckies diet

Thanks for the tag. Just want to point out that bread yeast is a no for ducks it is not the same as nutritional yeast.
