(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? No, 14 years... I also grew up with chickens and about every kind of bird!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 44 chickens, 2 ducks, 3 guineas and 3 turkey's. Add in 2 one month old silkie chicks and 2 newly hatched.
(3) What breeds do you have? Silkies, Americaunas, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Plymouth Barred Rock, RIR's, Black Sex Link, Old English Game, Mille Fleur and Porcelain d'Uccles, Japanese Bantam, Brahma's, Pekin Bantam, Pekin / Porcelain d'Uccle cross (not sure what they'd be called)!
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I really just love watching them out and about foraging, they're just calming to be around. Our newest batch of chickens have such awesome personalities!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Well, I guess incubating eggs now
Started off with a silkie hen not staying on her eggs because we moved her at the wrong time. 
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Married w/ 3 children (school age, preschool and toddler), 3 turkey's, 2 ducks, 3 guineas, 3 dogs, 7 cats, fish and a red eared slider turtle. I am a stay at home Mom.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Since about a year ago, been doing a lot of research on an issue I had with one of my rooster and since we got our newest flock of chickens and turkeys.
