Hoping to make some new chicken friends and learn a lot. We are from Vermont.

She is a Bantam. Buff Brahma. She flew the coop this winter and was covered in snow. I wrapped her in a towel and then an electric throw blanket ( on low) until she warmed back up and told me she was ready to go back out. :)
I have two of those,a Buff Silkie,two Easter Eggers and an Aurucana Roo... He is not so nice!! Thank you for saying hello !

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! Lovely pic there of your brahma she looks very inquisitive!! Wishing you the very best of luck with your flock in the future, be sure to ask any questions everyone here to help and very friendly.

Enjoy BYC and all the chicken chat :frow

Thank you all for your warm welcome. This particular Banty is quite the inquisitive being . She loves to watch tv!!! She is so loving and tender .. Tastiest tiny eggs too! I will be adding to my flock shortly as well as adding two more Nubian Dwarf Goats to the two I already have. The chickens and goats are fast friends. They hold daily conferences!
Watching over all of them is my LGD MAREMMA. His name
700

is Bigzie.

Love that dog! I used to foster and rescue..never had the chance to foster one of these beauties..I am a large dog lover. :) Although now, in my old age, I have a couple of small dogs..but I have my third Golden R. outside that does a great job of watching over my girls.
She's like all Golden's...all smiles!

I had just hosed her down, then gave her an apple..and yes, the hen got a couple of bites. Missy
let her, reluctantly.
