New member with a behavior question

I am no expert but yes anything is possible. Do they quack or have a low raspy type of quack? Girl ducks can have a very loud quack and the boys are more quiet and raspy. Hope that helps. :)
They both have a loud quack, a cackle, and car alarm sounding quacks 😊 I sure love their chirps the most. I also read that the drake's tail curls. They are in the middle of their first moult, but so far they both have straight tails.

Hello, and welcome to BYC. Both ducks appear to be drakes. What happened is very likely the onset of misplaced mating behavior.

Your very welcome. :) When they start laying eggs you will know for sure then! :gig Best of luck with your girls. :)
That's true 😜 I'm hoping they're about done with their first moult soon. There's feathers everywhere. Thank you for all your input šŸ’—

As @N F C posted, you will find a lot more duck people and valuable information in that section of the BYC Forum. :)

You also have to be aware, that Ducks are a very social animal, this to can also trigger different behaviors. :)

I didn't realize there was different sections of this forum. I reposted it under the "ducks" section. Yall have been very helpful, and I love that we all love our feathered friends šŸ’—
