Hello!
My name is Kate. I have some backyard chicken experience through flocks family members have had, but I am two weeks into having my very own flock. My husband and I recently received 8 chicks, 7 female and 1 male. They were hatched in a classroom, raised for six weeks, then delivered to our coop. We have a barred rock, a black copper maran, a blue copper maran, an americauna, an Easter egger, two lavender orpingtons, and a speckled sussex/legbar. We love them dearly but I am already entering the "panic unreasonably about my pets health" phase, so please be prepared for plenty of "does this poop look normal" posts. It's just my nature.
