Hello all,
Had chickens years ago and have just recently started to keep them again.
First big relearning was make sure everything is well sealed with mobile coop I bought. Everything looked good and after a midnight visit I realized the prior owner had not wired the eves.
Have fewer chickens now, thanks to( I think) a Racoon. (and my stupidity)
Am looking for a few started pullets if anyone has some in the Berkeley Springs area of WV

Hope this isn't like trying to buy a fishing lure while already in the boat and out on the lake.

Well, Looking forward to using the site and hoping to become an asset as time goes by.

Walk in the grace you are,

If you go to the forum they have buy sell trade and they categorize everything there for you.

Thanks for the welcome!
Great photos of your flock
And, thanks for the good wishes.

So sorry for your loss.

The Learning center is a great place to start, and I would recommend the coops/ predator threads as well. Sadly, everything loves to eat chicken. Welcome to Backyard Chicks, very glad you joined the flock.

Hey, don't beat yourself up. It happens.

Funny analogy. Lots of folks loose birds for all sorts of reasons! You're already an asset! Now folks will check their eves. Lots of folks look for started pullets too. You can mail order if you don't find anything local, but I'll bet you do. Try this thread to find neighbors. https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you Keep Calm and Carry On. Best of luck to you.
