Good morning,

Joined the site this morning because of a concern with a new coop I got yesterday. First things first:

1. Got my chickens, three of them, back in January. One ended up being a rooster, so he went back to the feed store. Sadly.

2. Right now, I have my original two, a BarredRock and a Delaware. Yesterday, I got two chicks, a Turken Naked Neck and an Americana.

3. Found BackYardChickens.com though Facebook.

4. I love to read, take pictures and hang out with my dogs, chickens and tortoise.

5. I am married. 26 years. Two sons, 23 and 24, Dylan and Ryan, Ryan got married in May of this year to Caitlyn. So I now have a wonderful daughter-in-law. Ryan is a full-time children's pastor at our church, Dylan is in his final year of getting his bachelor's in public administration and plans to go into the police force and Caitlyn graduated Biola University in May with a degree in Communication. I have always been a stay-at-home mom and wife and love it. Raising chickens is something I've always wanted to do, and definitely need to keep learning!

Hi, I think I just responded to you on a question you have about your coop. Guess I can say "Welcome" again!

Congratulations on getting your flock. If you haven't already done so, check out the great articles in the Learning Center, they'll answer a lot of questions you may have. https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

Good luck!
