Hi, everyone, new to the site and relatively new to keeping chickens. I live in northumberland in the uk, i was given a few x battery hens a few years ago and found them fascinating and so i have decided to try and hatch some eggs, got my incubator today a janoel12 which is how i found this site because i dont have any instructions, a search on the internet brought me to a thread dated 2014 which was very useful. I'm going to run it empty for a few days to get used to the controls and hopefully get some eggs in by the end of the week.

Welcome to BYC. As questions arise there will be someone here to help. Good luck with your first incubation.

The first few times to incubate eggs are so exciting...and nail-biting! Have fun and hope all goes well!
