  1. I am on the Gold Coast, Australia. I started with my backyard chickens 2 years ago. At the moment I have 2 white Silkies and 2 Hybrids. Built my own coop and will upload some photos.

    Hi :welcome

Glad you could join us here! Love your avatar pic! I started out my chicken adventures with a couple of hybrids and they were fab layers. Looking forward to seeing your coop pics. We have a coop contest running now that you could enter ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...-and-run-page-contest-winter-spring-2016/0_30
How to enter and create a coop page are all in the first post. You may need a few more posts to create a page but once you have them I'm sure you will be good to go.

Please do pop by the Australia thread too for others in your area ~

  8. Hi, Whereabouts in the Great White North are you? I spent a year travelling across Canada in a van coast to coast in the early 80's. We stopped to visit some friends in North Battleford, Saskatchewan and ended up staying there for several months through the winter. Still in touch with them on Facebook 35 years later. Fond memories.

Welcome to BYC [IMG] Glad you joined us! Yes, please do make a coop page for us, so we can see what you did. The system will require you to post a bit more, before you have permission though. If you need any help, yell and let me know [IMG]
