I knew to raising chickens as an adult and got 6 chicks 2 weeks ago this Monday. I was visiting my grand babies and had my daughter who was house(cat) sitting for me pick them up. She has since forgotten what kind they are. I was hoping that by picture someone could tell me. They are supposed to be all female and good layers and eaters. That's all I know.

Well, at first I was thinking..RIR..can't quite tell by the dark photo..then I saw what sourland said, took another look, could very well be. Need a better photo. Glad you joined!
