Hello everyone. I am excited to being a part of this forum to learn and share my enjoyment of chickens.
I just recently aquired 4 chickens and my husband built me a great chicken coop and run for our 4 girls.

I have 3 barnevelder's and 1 Rhode Island Red. Their purpose is for egg laying production only.
I live in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas.

Love the Barnies and RIR's. You will get an egg almost every day from the RIR. The Barnies are so pretty. Great layers too.

Yes you are correct, they don't dissapoint me in the egg laying and they are quite a beauty when the sun hits there feathers. Thanks for the repoly
