Hi everyone! I live in Chicago and we just got our day old 4 baby Rhode Island Red chicks. They're so cute!!!! I've read so much already and cannot wait to learn more. Thank you all!

Nice to meet you. I lived in Chicago for the first 22 years of my life, and never knew they allowed chickens. Maybe they didn't until many years later.
I am 69 now, and can't get over the fact that they let folks have them, even roosters. But small towns won't permit them. Seems odd to me.
