Hello Karen and welcome to BYC I'm sorry about the issues you've encountered. Shipped eggs are a crapshoot. I'm glad you have had some success best of luck with the last one!! I want to hatch more eggs but i have had bad male ratio and my unwillingness to cull unwanted roosters really stops me from hatching more.

I have given all of my roosters away! No one admits they are going to eat them, they all need a rooster. What the heck???
