Hello everyone, my.name.is John and I have just started building my flock. Years ago I raised chickens but moved to the city and had to sale out☹. But I am back on the country and ready to get back in to the hobby. I live in South Georgia. My flock consist of

White silkie
Buff silkie
Bard Cochin bantam
Black jersey giants

You're welcome! I joined BYC several years ago. I think I needed to join to see the photos people uploaded or something like that. But I didn't actually start participating until much more recently.

When I finally did introduce myself, I was overwhelmed with how welcoming and encouraging this community is! I've never been a big forum-guy, although I've joined a few over the years. But none has even come close to this one.

Anyway, I'm glad you're here!
