I don't know much about geese except they are fiercely protective of their goslings ( Canadian Geese out here) and their mates- I think maybe ducks would be somewhat kinder.

Im new to all this, I am in the UK and wanted to breed Sebastopol geese but need to ensure they are friendly as I have little pets and children. Do you recommend these. If I raise them from very young I am anticipating they imprint me and become friendly. Am I hoping for too much?

I do recall some with them saying that they are friendly. I did find this about them:

Uses: Feathers, Meat, Pets, Ornamental, Weeding
Temperament: Social, calm, and quiet
Weight: 12 - 14 lbs
Parenting abilities: Varies greatly amongst bloodlines
Noise level: Below average
Capable of flight: No
Meat production: Good roasting fowl
Egg production: 25 - 35 per year
Egg color: White
