Hello. Last June we started a new venture in getting guinea hens . We have lost many for a variety of reasons. We wanted them for pest control and enjoy them . This spring we will get more as we have 3 left at this time. We also may be getting chickens. from a friend who is moving. We never had chickens before so will be looking for some advice there as well

Chickens will be even more at risk to predator loss than the guineas. Unless you have predator proof housing, you will only be feeding the local wild life.
