Hey yall I'm new here on backyard chicken. I just wanted to say hey! I've had chickens and turkeys for a year now. It started with twelve and the numbers keep rising.! The more the merrier.

Sounds to me like you're fast becoming a victim of chicken math I think most of us can relate. I started with 6 and have 22 now lol

Thanks! Lol that dang chicken math. I think I have around 40 chickens.... And 6 turkeys.

Glad you joined the flock. 40 chickens and 6 turkeys, sounds like a good start. Now you need some guineas a few more turkeys, maybe a peacock or 2.

LOL my neighbors have guineas. I have 15 turkey eggs the incubator. Probably going to get more.

Good morning, and welcome to BYC. Got 'spring' chicks ?

I hatched a few and bought a few. After my round of turkeys, I'm going to incubate some more. A possum got in our coop and wiped out a dozen chicks. That Possum is no longer a threat. It killed all but 1 of the chicks I hatched. They were barred rock brown leghorn crosses.
