Hi my name is Donna,
I do not have any chickens yet, but I have raised chickens before. I had Dominiques I will probably raise them again. I had a stroke last February and my life style has changed drastically. I use to be dog stylist and had my own traveling business but all that came to and end. My left side has been effected but slowly healing so I have decided to do homesteading which will give me plenty of rehab therapy not just physically but mentally too. But I have to do every thing little at a time my funding is limited as far as getting coops and pens ready and I'm single so no other resources. I just got my garden going now Getting ready to build a coop. Then Ill be ready for some chicks. I also want to raise rabbits, and later on down the line dairy goats, and meat goats. I do have a dog a standard Poodle. His name is Arti.
Thank you all for allowing me to be apart of this group I have already been exploring this site Im very excited! Thanks again!

Hi Donna, welcome to the group. I'm sorry about your stroke, that must have been hard to stop your career just like that. I'm glad you are getting better bit by bit. I used to groom dogs also, for 17 yrs, then 15 yrs as a vet assistant so we have more than chickens in common.

So glad you’re accepting of the fact that you will be getting more farm animals!
:welcome
Thanks! I actually had to ask my landlord for permissio. I live in a RV park out in the country and je has been very kind in allowing me this option he to just had a stroke so he understands my will to be productive.
