I'm so glad I found this site. I was given two Rhode Island Reds in November from a friend that needed to downsize her flock. I must say they are quite entertaining to say the least. I have a small dog and two cats and they all get along great which surprised me.

Hi and nice to meet you. This is a very helpful site. Feel free to ask any questions-- lots of knowledgeable folks here.
Thanks so much. Yes, I stumbled onto this site looking for some help. My two ISO Browns were attacked last night and are very traumatized at this point. I'm so very upset as I got home a bit later than normal to put them in their coop so of course I blame myself. I got one to start drinking and eating but the other won't eat or drink. I just keep going out an checking on them as they will not get out of the coop which is understandable. I guess time will tell.

Sorry to hear this. I have had predator issues too. Were your birds injured? I am glad to hear one is eating and drinking. Any idea what attacked them? Sometimes one can get an idea of the attacker by the type of injuries to the birds.
