Welcome to BYC, so sorry for your loss. It is so disheartening but I have read here somewhere that chicken=death. I lost my entire flock earlier this year to a rescue dog. While my wife was out of country and it breaks ones heart. We didn't lose a single one to all the hawks we get in winter I thought they were bulletproof, but I was wrong. Best regards going forward!
