I have become obcessed with the "color" Partridge in Silkies. I am trying to find out if there is a light Partridge or a dark Partridge. The genetics when you mate certain birds to get a dark Partridge. I love the deep browns, reds and other dark colors in the Silkies. I have other chickens for laying. I love the temperment of my Olive Egger girls. The sweetest ever. I also have a lemon blue Cochin girl who I love. I have a Show-Girl/Silkie Rooster who does not act docile at all. Not sure if I'm going to breed him to my Silkie Girls. So, I have a lot of reading to do, to figure out the Patridge genetics.

I just love watching the flock interact, I have mostly young chicks right now so I have time to learn. I have been a stalker here for a long time. lol
