Hey everyone!

I first got into chickens about 3-4 years ago. I started with 4 hens just to see what it was like, and I fell in love. My little flock has grown to 32 over those years and I couldn't be happier. I spoil them rotten, making mini-cakes for their hatch-days, making chook-safe toys, even giving "spa-days". I have MANY breeds; I'll make a list at the end. I keep birds other than chickens; I also have ducks, guineas, and quail. Other than obsessing over my birds, I enjoy hiking, geology, and studying the local pathology of the resident species. I'm also a "part time" chicken behavior observer (they're much smarter than you would think), haha. I have 7 acres, though due to a large increase in predators and the loss of my guardian roo, I can only free range my hens when I'm available to guard them myself, which is never as much as I'd like. It's great to meet all of you!

Here are the breeds I have:

Barred rock
Buff Cochin
Partridge Cochin
Black Australorp
Bantam Silver Dorking
Blue Copper Marans
Buff Orphington
Buff Orphington Cross
Gold Laced Wyandotte
Salmon Faverolles
"Easter Egger"
White Bantam Silkie
"Pastel" Dorking
EE/RHR Cross
Black Star
Black Sex Link
Bantam Black Sumatra
Bantam Buff Brahma
Bantam Light Brahma
Bantam Blue Splash Sumatra
Bantam Black Serama
Bantam Barred Pekin
Ayam Cemani
Light Brahma
